In Hollywood, I was a writer, producer, actor, DGA trainee, and an IATSE Local 44 assistant propmaster, not in sequence, but mostly all at once. I have credits on Entourage, Frasier, Shameless, and NCIS: Los Angeles, membership in the Producers Guild of America, and a Hallmark movie I wrote called The Christmas Cup.

Every few years, someone would tell me to specialize. Pick a lane. Build the brand.

I never did, and it turned out to be one of the most useful things about me.

The propmaster knows what the producer forgot to budget. The writer knows why a scene will not play before the crew is even standing in it at 2 a.m. Wearing every hat meant I could see the whole board. More importantly, I could see the seams between departments. That is exactly where things go wrong.

That same instinct is what I bring to closing services: seeing the whole transaction, anticipating the handoffs, and catching problems before they become delays.
